PRIVACY POLICY

Island Style Promotions is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We use information such as name, email, addresses and age to identify your entries, orders, to provide you with further information about surfing, as well as use for marketing purposes. SECURITY POLICY

When paying for entry fees for events managed by Island Style Promotions, your financial details are passed through Live Heats partner with Stripe, the world's leading payment gateway secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology and it is again encrypted using encryption algorithm which is at least 64-bit. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion, trillion years to break.

PRICING POLICY

Island Style Promotions pricing of entry fees, and course registrations is carefully monitored to provide participants with the cheapest possible participation cost. All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 1st July 2000.

 

REFUND POLICY

As a general rule, entry fees into competitions and courses are not refundable. In some extenuating circumstances (such as injury a medical certificate is required) Island Style promotions will endeavour to fill the vacated competition/course position and provide a credit for future entries. If payment is taken for a competition/course that is already full Island Style Promotions will provide a full refund. Should an event fail to be staged for any reason apart from an ACT OF GOD (This includes weather and surf conditions) you are entitled to a full refund of your entry fees paid less administration costs. Should an event begin or any associated promotions be run as part of that event no refund will be forthcoming. Event Complaint Procedures

 

PROTESTS

Any protests over the running of heats, results, or interferences must be made in writing and submitted to the contest director along with a $100 protest fee (Fully refundable with successful protests only) within 20 minutes of the end of the heat being protested. The Contest Director, Head Judge, and Event Co-ordinator will adjudicate on the protest with a majority required for a protest to be upheld with their decision being final.

 

PRIZES

Allocation of prizes, trophies, and prize money is at the discretion of the Event Director and can not be substituted for cash.

 

HARASSMENT

Harassment of competitors, participants, officials, and organisers based on their gender, colour race or creed will not be tolerated with the offending party or parties being unable to take any further part in the event.

 

DISCLAIMER

Although as mentioned we will take all care and make all effort to keep your information private however, we will not be held legally responsible for any breach as the information may be divulged to other parties which has been obtained by methods which are beyond our reasonable control.
