This multi day event began in 2019 and has developed into more than just a surfing competition; it also features various cultural, entertainment, lifestyle, and environmental activities. It attracts longboard surfers from around the world competing for the Macca memorial trophy for the Surfer Having the Most Fun, making it a vibrant and internationally flavored event. The Kirra Longboard Klassic is particularly appealing to visitors as most activities are free, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience of surfing enthusiasts and those interested in beachside activities. This exciting event celebrates our love for the ocean, with world-class surfing competitions taking place in the famous waves of Kirra.
